Melgret Valdez

Melgret Valdez is dedicated to providing adequate education to diverse groups that are passionate about community health.
Melgret holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, Fullerton and is currently finishing her Master's program for Public Health at California State University, San Marcos. With past experience as a certified nursing assistant and a home health aide, Melgret enjoys caring for different individuals as well as advocating for their health. Stepping away from the clinical side and direct patient care, Melgret has facilitated presentations about domestic violence and human trafficking throughout Ventura County. She has also worked behind the scenes by developing curriculum for a mental health intervention catered to Filipino youth in Los Angeles.
Her main passion is reaching out to vulnerable populations to ensure they are well-informed about resources that can benefit their health and overall well-being. She strives to continuously achieve this goal as she interacts with many participants of their programs.
